Silver Boxes (The Gift of Encouragement) by Florence Littauer

Once in a while you come across a book which changes something inside of you or helps to heal a broken spot in your life. This book did those two things and more for me.  If you are unsure of your influence or  if you  do not know if you are making a difference in anyone’s life, you need to read this book. In it we are told how our words can affect others for good or ill.   Florence Littauer shares from letters she has received from her many seminars how people respond to encouraging words and actions. All mothers and  fathers should read this book. All teachers should read this book.
