Waiting Stinks

Waiting for things is really hard.  I remember how painful it was at times to wait for  Mr. Right.  But it finally happened and we have enjoyed 27 years of marriage.  Now waiting for the completion of the bathroom renovation is hard too.  Especially since the workers aren’t coming tomorrow as planned.  So it looks like Friday will be the completion date and even that is not guaranteed. I really hope it is finished by Friday because we will  have a guest in the downstairs suite and I don’t want to have to go down there to use the shower.  

I know, I know…be thankful for small mercies. We could live way back when and not have indoor plumbing.  Even I don’t like my advice at times.  But I will wait and keep busy with de-cluttering jobs.  We are making progress and that is good. Just what we shall tackle tomorrow is a big surprise.  Now I should tackle sleep. I hate waiting for sleep to arrive…Where is the sandman when you need him?
